À propos de l'événement
The Lamrim or "The Stages of the Path of Enlightenment" is an organization of all the Buddha's teachings in the form of gradual, structured stages.
In this session, Ven. Zawa Tulku Rinpoche will grant the traditional oral transmission (lung, ལུང་ in Tibetan) of the Necklace of the fortunate (Jorcho in Tibetan), as part of Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche's Lamrim, as well as a practical commentary to effectively engage on the path to enlightenment.
What is Jorcho?
Jorcho (Tib. སྦྱོར་ཆོས་ - also spelled Jorchö or Jor-Chö) is a set of Tibetan Buddhist preliminary practices. It includes practices such as taking refuge, generating bodhicitta (the aspiration to attain enlightenment for the benefit of all beings), rejoicing in one's own and others' merit, and other meditations to prepare the mind for deeper realization on the Buddhist path. Jorcho provides a structured way to prepare the mind and body for more advanced spiritual practice.
